​•On June 2010, President Gloria Macapagal - Arroyo signed an act (R.A. 10132) establishing a National Technical Vocational High School in the City of San Fernando. Province of la Union to be known as San Fernando City National Vocational High School: It was then Congressman Victor Ortega ho successfully made an attempt to put up a vocational high school in the City of San Fernando; La Union: He once mentioned in his talks that other towns of La Union have a vocational school, Together with then Schools Division Superintendent, Linda H. Laudencia, they pushed through the resolution of putting up a vocational high school in the city SFCNVHS started its operation in 2012 having just 50 students with a single storey building. n 2016, two buildings were completely built to cater almost 200 enrolled students. Yearly then. through the help of LGU, PTA, and stakeholders, additional classrooms were created. At present. there are almost 350 enrolled students of San Fernando City National Vocational High School. With the growing population of students. additional buildings are being worked out to continually offer quality education to all.
